API Key Rotation Manager

API Key Rotation Manager MCP Connector for Claude

A+

Deterministic API key rotation to prevent rate limits and exhaustion.

4 tools Official Updated Oct 1, 2026 Official Vinkius Partner

This MCP server provides a resilient way to manage multiple API keys through a deterministic circular queue. It prevents bottlenecks in LLM orchestrators like LangChain or AutoGen by automatically rotating to the next available key when rate limits or authentication failures occur. Use rotate_key to transition between keys, report_key_failure to track issues, and report_key_success to reset failure counters. The system maintains high availability by removing keys that exceed the maximum consecutive failure threshold.

The current API key just hit a rate limit. Rotate to the next one.

The system has rotated to the next available key. Current key ID: key_002, Keys remaining: 4.

A request was successful using key_001. Reset its failure count.

Success reported. The failure counter for key_001 has been reset to 0.

Check the current status of the API key rotation pool.

Current status: 5 active keys in a pool of 5. Current key is key_003. No exhaustion detected.

The system uses a circular queue. When a key fails, you can call `rotate_key` to move to the next valid index in the sequence, ensuring continuous operation.
